Description
This episode of the U.S. Army covers three separate stories that are interrelated in a pictorial report format. The first deals with medicine, the second with experimentation, and the third with construction. But all are concerned with some of the Army's peacetime roles. With footage provided by the National Archives and Records Administration, this fascinating documentary introduces viewers to the role of Army medicine in relation to civilian disaster; explores the Army's Corps of Engineers and the work it does in minimizing the effects of disasters before they occur; and depicts scores of military assignments, both in war and peace.
