Description
Caterpillars are made for one thing - to eat. These feeding machines munch their way through enough food so that they increase their body weight 2000-3000 times between hatching and becoming a fully grown caterpillar. Unfortunately this makes them tasty protein packed morsels for birds and they must use ingenious methods to evade detection. For those that avoid being eaten the reward is great. They enter into a magical process that will transform them beyond recognition.
