Ecotourism is a relatively new term used to describe tourism related activities which are managed within a sustainable manner. Many definitions of ecotourism exist, which can cause confusion concerning when and how to use the term. Visiting two leading tourist destinations, Phillip Island Nature Park and Mount Hotham Alpine Resort, this program discusses the needs of the ecotourist, the process of accreditation and the associated benefits for all.
